Interior Photography — A Full-Service Apartment by Housedesigner

I photographed this apartment at Westmark Tower, part of my ongoing interior photography London projects for design and architecture studios. The apartment was a full-service project — designed, sourced and installed by Housedesigner — as part of a complete whole-house transformation. The brief covered every room, but it was the guest bedroom that became the standout space, anchored by a striking blue velvet scallop bed.

Housedesigner’s full-service approach, spanning interior design, procurement and installation, comes through clearly in the finished result. Rich navy and teal velvet furnishings recur throughout the apartment, paired with warm brass fixtures, marble surfaces and abstract artwork that ties each room together. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping London skyline views from the bedrooms and living spaces alike, and the apartment’s height above the city became a natural feature to shoot around, with the changing light adding a different mood to each room across the day.

The dining and kitchen areas open onto the living space, with a formally set table, sculptural lighting and a round brass-framed mirror adding warmth to the more functional areas of the home. A wine fridge and marble backsplash sit alongside soft cream cabinetry, keeping the kitchen in step with the rest of the apartment’s palette. A second bedroom, finished in soft blush pink velvet, offers a quieter contrast to the jewel-toned living spaces, while a compact desk and dressing area shows how Housedesigner made use of every corner of the apartment, right down to a curved velvet ottoman tucked beside the window.

Shooting this project meant capturing how a full design, procurement and installation service translates into a cohesive, elevated home from room to room, with every material and finish considered as part of one complete scheme. The result is a polished, comfortable apartment that photographs beautifully in every direction, from the skyline views to the smallest styling details, and a project I was glad to spend the day photographing for Housedesigner.
